Pakulala Safari Camp is an intimate accommodation under canvas in only

10 tents offering an elegant fusion of modern and classic accommodation, en suite bathrooms adorned with fresh flowers and crystal, blending elegant simplicity with a laid back style. Bathrooms contain hot shower with wooden deck and flush eco toilet.
Some interesting facts on the decoration: Carpets are made from a local grass in the region of Mbulu, it´s an approximate 5 week hand made process done by the local African mamas, we gave the measure in feet, and they took it literally, using their feet to measure, so each one as its unique size!
Leather Butterfly Chairs are tanned without chemicals, might be the reason why the hyenas love them so much?
Each tent contains original local made design furniture, comfortable big beds, feather duvet, 2 size pillows, 100% cotton sheets, luggage rack, safari chairs, mats and soft furnishings in our own style.
There is always solar lighting in the bedroom, no generator noise in the camp.
Situated at a priviledged site right at the crater rim, Pakulala Safari Camp is a perfect place to stay for safari or walking routes in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Visit a traditional Maasai Boma, just 45 min walk from the camp, and without the crowds.
Start a 3 day trek from here to lake Natron, passing the sacred Oldoinyo Lengai.
